Harold Dean has a long-term catheter and a urine specimen awaiting dispatch. Review the specimen and care records, assess the relevant information and complete the appropriate documentation. Casey and the requesting GP are available.
What this station tests
- Correct identity labels do not guarantee a valid specimen.
- Do not disguise a drainage-bag sample as sampling-port urine.
- Record specimen and result follow-up ownership explicitly.
