The task
Gordon Webb has collapsed beside the dining table. He is represented by a manikin. Casey is beside you and a staff witness can provide information. Assess the situation, describe the nursing response and hand over to arriving help. The examiner provides clinical and emergency-service findings.
What this station tests
- Remove only visible accessible material; avoid blind sweeps.
- Unresponsiveness with absent normal breathing requires CPR.
- No shock advised does not establish recovery.
