RN OSCE practice station
Basic life support · 2 min to read · 8 min to perform
A written station. Free to try, no sign-up.
The task
You are the RN in a general practice clinic. Farah Khan, aged 43, has collapsed in the clinic treatment room before a routine appointment. Recognise the emergency, demonstrate DRSABCD and hand over to arriving help. Complete the supplied practice record. Speak to the patient and describe each assessment as you perform it. A second RN is available. Partner Imran is present. You have eight minutes; describe and select physical actions in this online exercise.
What this station tests
- Call 000 from this GP clinic and give a precise location.
- Imran must be clear of Farah during AED analysis and shock.
- A distressed partner can guide the ambulance crew after receiving a short explanation.
- Dizziness before collapse is useful witness history, but must not delay CPR.
