Amara Okafor is in a quiet ED assessment area after a relationship crisis. She has agreed to speak with you. Assess immediate mental health safety, arrange appropriate support and document an individual safety and review plan. The patient answers personal questions; the examiner supplies requested examination findings. Dr Taylor Singh is reachable by phone. RN Alex Morgan is available.
What this station tests
- Direct questions about suicide clarify immediate safety needs.
- Protective relationships do not cancel a current plan with access to means.
- A promise not to self-harm does not replace supervision and urgent clinical assessment.
