Noah Reed, eight, has arrived after an episode at school. His mother Jo arrived at 09:30 as he recovered and is beside him. The teacher’s note is in the folder. Take and record observations, establish the history and arrange care. The ED doctor can be phoned.
What this station tests
- A normal examination after an episode does not establish its cause.
- Time and describe recurrent movements; protect breathing and prevent injury.
- Use the parent’s baseline account alongside direct observations.
