You are the RN in a community nursing service. Elena Rossi, aged 72, reports brief dizziness when she stood up from breakfast. She is now seated and comfortable. Obtain observations and a focused history, and agree on a safe follow-up plan. Complete the supplied practice record. You and the patient are in the room; assistance can be called. You have eight minutes; describe and select physical actions in this online exercise.
What this station tests
- Elena’s supported measurements demonstrate a symptomatic 22 mmHg systolic drop.
- Stop the stand and help her sit when dizziness returns.
- Review low intake and perindopril/furosemide with the GP without independently stopping them.
- Arrange reachable help and support for a low-vision person living alone.
