A written station. Free to try, no sign-up.
The task
Arun Shah, aged five, is at a GP clinic after vomiting and diarrhoea. His mother is present. Take a focused observation set, assess hydration and record an escalation plan. Do not prescribe fluids or medicines. The patient is a manikin; address the patient and the examiner voices their answers and supplies findings. Dr Taylor Singh is reachable by phone. Priya Shah is present.
What this station tests
- Use measured weight; do not estimate percentage dehydration without reliable comparison data.
- Parent observations help establish a child’s change from normal behaviour.
- An unwell child needs review before discharge advice becomes the main task.
