PEBC OSCE new pathway from January 2027

The PEBC OSCE new pathway starts in January 2027: the Evaluating Exam ends, so international pharmacy graduates go straight to Part I and must pass it before they can sit the OSCE. The October 2026 Evaluating Exam is the last one, and it is optional.

What changes

Dates to know

For the February 2027 sitting, the application deadline is noon Eastern Time on 19 November 2026, according to PEBC. PEBC lists OSCE dates of 21 February, 30 May and 6 November 2027. See the fees and dates page.

What stays the same

The Part II format is unchanged. It still has 11 scored stations, 9 interactive and 2 non-interactive, each up to 7 minutes. Attempt limits also stand: up to 4 per part, and both parts passed within 3 years of each other.

International first-time candidates passed Part II at 56.6%. See the pass rate by group.

Planning your preparation

Since Part I now comes first, your OSCE practice can wait until you have passed it, but the communication habits take time to build. Learn the station types early. One practice station with an AI patient is free to try, with no sign-up. Fees are on the fees page, and the PEBC OSCE overview has the full format.
