Sita Gurung attends a GP clinic for a dressing change. She requests a Nepali interpreter; her adult son offers to translate. Arrange communication support, explore consent and document her decision. Do not perform the dressing in this conversation station. The patient answers personal questions; the examiner supplies requested examination findings. Dr Taylor Singh is reachable by phone. RN Alex Morgan is available. Amir Gurung is present. Do not change the dressing during this encounter.
What this station tests
- Offer a qualified interpreter for a detailed consent discussion and speak directly to the patient.
- Ask privately who may remain in the room and receive information.
- Interpreter presence is not consent; record the patient’s expressed choice.
