The 2025 fee cut
The AMC cut the clinical exam fee on 1 July 2025. The earlier fees were A$3,991 and A$4,391. If you read an older figure, it is out of date.
Payment and refunds
The AMC takes credit card payment only. If you withdraw within 1 month of payment you get a 50% refund. After that there is no refund. Once you secure a place you must pay within 30 minutes, and a place cannot be moved to another date.
The in-person exam is at the AMC Test Centre in Docklands, Melbourne. Online delivery is only for doctors working in rural or remote Australia.
