Why we do not publish real exam papers

Candidates are examined on the day, and the NMC changes its pool of stations in batches. The September 2026 batch for nursing is one example (NMC resources). Pages that promise real scenarios with answers cannot be trusted to be current or correct, and we do not collect or describe questions candidates recall.

The NMC publishes its own station topics and marking criteria. Start there: the NMC OSCE stations list covers the topics and the marking criteria guide points to the PDFs.

What we offer instead

Our stations are original patients written from the NMC's public topics, such as a breathless patient on a medical ward or a medicine round. After each attempt you see a model approach, so you can compare your actions with a safe, UK-style way of doing it. All feedback is an estimate, for practice only. One practice station with the AI patient is free, with no sign-up.

How to use a model approach

1. Do the station cold, to time, out loud.
2. Read the model approach once, and mark where you differed.
3. Note any safety step you missed: identity, allergy, consent, escalation.
4. Repeat the station a few days later, without the notes.

The point is to build habits, not memorise answers. The NMC says its own criteria are indicative and should not be memorised.
